Major Homes remodeled my bathroom three years ago. They treated my home with the care that you would use if it were your own home. When my shower door shattered they came and installed the new one I had purchased, at no charge and it was done at my convenience. When my tile needed a little re-work it was also done at no cost.

This contractor is great! - All work was completed and I did not even have to be around to watch. I have already recommended them to friends.

I contacted Major Homes and they promptly sent over a salesman that was courteous and very friendly. He listened to what we had to say and offered windows to suit our needs. A total of eight windows were installed. I had a very bad experience with a crystal-manufactured window from Whitestone installed by another window company. Jason from Major Homes assured me I would be totally satisfied with my new windows. He promised his firm did not install inferior windows like the piece of junk I got scewed with from the other company. His workers installed the windows in a day and a half. They were very polite. They respected my home were very tidy and did a spectacular job installing my windows. I could not be happier my home is much more comfortable the cold and the drafts from the old windows are now just a bad memory. Great service, excellent installation, and really wonderful windows. I could not ask for more.

We have been researching replacement windows for over eight months. When Jason showed up at our home for our in-home demo, we were sold. He was knowledgeable, forthright and put on a terrific demonstration touting the features of the windows. I was sold on the spot. He gave us his card with all of his contact information and told us he is available to answer questions 24/7. On the day of the installation, the installation crew showed up ahead of schedule and proceeded to install ten windows in a single day. They were experienced, courteous, friendly and efficient and exceeded all expectations. We need additional work done on the house and will not hesitate to call them back. Major Homes is an outstanding home contracting company. They are trustworthy, competent, responsive, personable and neat. I had a roof, windows and siding replaced. The whole job was very coordinated. The project manager was available at anytime by cell phone and email. Every request was addressed and taken care of.

Joe Matelsky was a key player in my project. He was completely available to me and always responsive to my questions and concerns. I remember one instance when I placed an emergency call to Joe with a question about my quartz countertops. He not only answered my question, but he showed up at my house to make sure the countertops were measured correctly. He went over and above what I expected time and time again.

Siding done for entire house this June. Owner's word was kept as far as quality, timing and the ability to discuss any problems or questions. Crew was well trained and no issues whatsoever in the professionalism.

I am the owner of a 1 1/2 story bungalow type home with an unfinished attic that is not used. I have owned the home since 1969. Major replaced my roof in 1995 and in windows in 1999. During the last breaking rain storms, water leaked into my attic and poured into my home. My investigation revealed thta the caulking had failed on a 2x2 attic window, which Major had not done the work on, hence, they had no responsibility for the leak or the repair. I am an old timer (80 years old) and would not attempt to caulk an attic window using a ladder. I called Major, described the problem hoping for the best. Major advised I would be placed on a list and they would call when they had men available.

After a few days I was called in the morning to confirm I would be home. A short time later two men arrived and caulked both sides of my attic window. Amazingly enough, the repair was done at no cost to me. I can surely see why Major Homes has been in business since 1919.

There was no leak during the next three rainstorms. Thank you Major for your prompt attention to such a small job. Your workers stopped the leak for which I am most grateful.

My skylight came off in a windstorm. They were able to re-attach it without undue drama and expense!

This is a letter of thanks that is long overdue! I had my beautiful new roof put on in December and I don’t even know where to begin to praise everyone at Major Homes.

My first thanks goes to the company owner, Mitch Kersch. I must say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for giving me a price that was outstanding! With times as hard as they are for everyone, what you did for us was kind and extremely generous! I had several other price quotes from companies and not only were their prices more than what you offered, but what they were offering was not even close to the quality and thoroughness that you covered with your generous offer! So to you Mitch, thank you from me and my husband, LTC Leonard Draves, who is now entering into his 3rd year in Iraq, on active duty with the Army. He always comments that it is one less thing he has to worry about while he is overseas. He was thrilled with the outcome when he came home on his leave in December and saw it. The roof was just done a few days before he arrived home!

I also want to thank the salesman, Mike Failla. I had met Mike when I had a gutter replaced two years before. He remained in my thoughts because in the few conversations I had with him over something as simple as a gutter I knew he was the one I would go to when I needed to have my roof done! Mike is a wonderful person! He made me feel that I was a part of his family as well as the Major Homes family, not just a customer.

I would and will recommend Major Homes to anyone and everyone! The work they did was outstanding and dealing with the people who work there was a pleasure!

I just wanted to thank you for the repair Major Homes did on one of the gutters on my house. The damage was caused by this year's heavy snow on the roof that slid over the gutter causing it to bend. I truly appreciate working with such a reputable and reliable company.

I didn't know how to begin the project of replacing the windows and getting new gutters and siding for my home. There were just too many variables. After putting it off for as long as I could, I started the process of meeting with contractors. I felt most comfortable with Mitch. The computer program showed me the finished project in the virtual world and was most helpful. I was very pleased that I chose Major Homes and the finished product is exactly what I wanted and expected.

As to the project, once started, it was worked on until completion. The only day that work did not proceed was the day of a severe rainstorm with gale force windows. The night before the storm, I was concerned and called to make sure that the materials and scaffolding were really properly secured. The foreman came over, reassured me that h everything looked safe and it was.

Based on the reputation of Major Homes in the community, I know you don't need my endorsement but I would be happy to talk to any potential customers about my experience. And, I no longer have to postpone additional work as I know just who to call.

We have used Major homes for a number of jobs in our house over the years. We first used them to replace all of the windows in our house, then we used them to replace our wood deck. Just recently we gutted, expanded and redid our kitchen and Major Homes was on the job! THEY WERE AWESOME! They were spot on with their pricing, unbelievably professional, always on time, answered calls immediately etc. etc. Our kitchen looks amazing!
